Making a Donation

My hair has gotten very long. I can't brush it myself. Mom said it was time for a cut. 

The hair lady said it was long enough to donate. That means I can help someone who doesn't have hair to get a beautiful wig. They would wear my hair just like it was their own. Mom said lots of kids with Down syndrome have Alopecia or get cancer and the medicine makes their hair fall out. I said lets do it! 

I needed 10 inches for Locks of Love. Mom said I would need to grow my hair a couple more months to donate to them. My stylist said I only need 8 inches for Pantene Beautiful Lengths. 

First she put my hair into pony tails. I won't have ponies at school anymore.

Then it was time to cut them off! We counted to three. 1....2....3! Half my hair was gone!

Then she did the other side. 

I flipped my short hair all over. I love it!

New hair! Yay me! 

Tomorrow mom will style my hair nice and take a picture. 

I'm a Star

Axel and I are movie stars. We got new sun glasses so we're real stars now.

Note from Mom: Angela likes to ramble. She talks about the new Justing Beaber movie, and that she and Axel are in it. (not really, but don't tell her that!) She also says something about Happy Valentines Day (which is what she calls Valentine's Day) her friend Laura, and wearing stripes, and...well she covers lots of topics. Really, she just rambles and eventually becomes background noise, because the real entertainment is watching Axel. (shhh Don't tell Angela THAT either!) At the time of this recording Axel had only been in the US for two months. These two together crack me up daily.

Hi Grandma!

Hi Grandma! I miss you!

November 21st, 2010: This was Angela's goodbye video to her grandma. Her grandma passed away the following morning. She misses her Grandma spring very much!

A note from the mom

Well, as you can see, getting Angela to write is worse than pulling teeth. It is downright impossible. But I've discovered that she REALLY likes to make videos of herself, and she LOVES getting questions! So please do post questions for her, and I'll have her read them and answer for herself! Today she just did some of her own questions. LOL

Dear Santa

Dear Santa,

Please give me a video game. It's called Ratatouli. My mom wants slippers. Dean wants a robe. Tyler wants a new pajamas. The dogs want new bones and balls. That's it.

I'm good. I'm nice. I'm nice to my mom and Dean and Tyler. And school. I promise to be nice to my teacher Ms. S.

Guess what Santa. I saw Laura at Cub. Down the isle. And Mark. That's Laura's dad. Mark was getting Mack and cheese, and chips for the dance studio.

This is me. I am bowling. I love to bowl. Sometimes I get a strike. Sometimes I get a gutter ball. Bowling is fun! I have my own ball. It is blue. It has special holes for my fingers. A man measured my hand, and made the holes just for me.

This is my horse Bud. I'm riding my horse Bud. I rode with my hands on my head. I rode with my hands behind my back! I went around barrels. I went over a jump!

Today it is very cold outside. I can't go outside. First I danced to Seussical videos. That is on youtube. Then I played with the dogs. I played fetch with Zurri. Watch my video.

Thanksgiving

We ate turkey. We drank pop. We at pumpkin pie. We ate sweet potatoes. We played a lot. We had fun. I gave Bridget a gift. It was a blue sweater.

A Note From Mom

This "the mom". Ok, I spoke too soon. I said that I would try to get Angela to write every day, but forgot that this is tech week for the play I'm in! My make-up is pretty extensive and requires me to start the process by about 3:00, which doesn't leave me much time to work with Angela! Next week I should have more time!
